Description of my Kundalini Yoga Class
Known as the "Yoga of Awareness", this energizing class begins with a short opening chant to connect you to the power within, followed by a pranayam (breath control practice) to harmonize your energies. You will then be guided through a dynamic series of moving postures designed to stimulate all your systems, creating a multitude of physical, mental and emotional benefits, followed by a stress-reducing relaxation, and finishing with a mantra meditation to awaken you to the sacred power of your life.

Description of my Guided Meditation Class
This peace-inducing class begins with an invocation to the power of your life-force - your breath. You will then be guided through an ancient Buddhist technique that enhances your mind/body connection, and awareness. Throughout, as you meditate, you will be instructed on how to consciously work with your thoughts, emotions and mind. The class finishes with a short healing chant and prayer. The many benefits of this practice include: a reduction in mental stress, slowing of aging, reduction in chronic pain, improved physical and mental health, enhanced feelings of joy, and an expanded sense of love and compassion for the self and all living beings.

In this class series, you will learn powerful postures, breath techniques and meditations based on the "Secrets of Rulership" from the Tibetan Buddhist teachings. You will synchronize your physical and mental selves, rid yourself of deep muscular tension and mental stress, reinvigorate your health and beauty through increased oxygen and blood flow, and become more deeply connected to your true, wise self. Each class will include Buddhist techniques that help dissolve negative karma.
